MERAUKE SUGAR GROUP STRENGTHENS COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT THROUGH EDUCATION AND HEALTHCARE INITIATIVES IN SOUTH PAPUA

Merauke, May 29, 2026 — Merauke Sugar Group (MSG) continues to strengthen its commitment to community development through various education, healthcare, and social support programs for communities surrounding the company’s operational areas in Merauke Regency, South Papua, throughout April and May 2026.

In the education sector, the company provided operational support for students at SD Inpres Tambat, supported learning activities in collaboration with the Catholic Youth Organization (OMK) in Senayu, and supported basic literacy and numeracy programs for students in Senayu Village.

In healthcare, MSG provided free health check-ups, HIV/AIDS prevention awareness programs, and medical assistance for indigenous communities in Baad Village.

Beyond education and healthcare, the company also continues to strengthen its relationship with local communities through various social support initiatives, including material assistance for the improvement of worship facilities and bereavement support for the family of Anselmus Ndiken in Baad Village.
